Almond Butter Cup Espresso Shake

When I’m busy, I hate the amount of time it takes to consume a snack big enough to actually fill me up. I also hate that it’s hard to find nourishing food that goes well with coffee. So, I created this easy shake recipe that has healthy calories and it has caffeine! It’s just like a candy “nut butter” cup, but IT’S HEALTHY!

These shakes are great because you can make them ahead of time and keep them in your fridge in lightweight To-Go Cups. I drink them with big Smoothie Straws.

Almond Butter Cup Espresso Shake (click here to print)

8 ice cubes
1/2 scoop of “Pure” Bone Broth
2 shots of brewed Espresso (I make it in a “Pod” Machine)
1/2 cup organic whole milk
1 ripe banana
1/4 cup raw almond butter
1 teaspoon organic cocoa powder
3/4 teaspoon of Liquid Stevia
1/2 teaspoon almond extract

1. Place all ingredients in a blender.
2. “Chop” so the ice breaks down and then “Mix” to combine all of the ingredients.
