Chili Breakfast

I found that I easily tire of the same breakfast, which leads me to not eating enough, which then leads me to being hungry and grumpy. This is clearly not the way to start my day, so I am always looking to create more breakfast ideas. I’m really excited about my most recent invention because it feels very fall-ish, only takes a couple of minutes to make, and keeps me full with the key nutrients, protein and fiber!

1/3 cup chili (I use Local Grass-Fed Beef Chili that is already made for me at my grocery store.)

1 Cranberry Orange Bread Round (I love these for breakfast because they have a delicious sweetness and they have protein and fiber in them.)

Organic Cream Cheese Spread (The “spread” comes in a round container and has a consistency that is easier to spread onto bread than the bar form of cream cheese.)

1. Heat up the chili in a bowl in the microwave for approximately 1 minute and 30 seconds.
2. Toast the whole bread round.
3. Spread one layer of cream cheese across the bread round.
4. Pour the chili over the cream cheese.

Don’t forget to drink a glass of water with your breakfast. Hydration is key!
