You would just like to relax and not worry about cooking.
This is where the slower cooker (KitchenAid Slow Cooker: amzn.to/1oBILp9), a.k.a. crock pot, comes to the rescue!
I have a great EASY recipe for these cold, winter days; and it’s healthy too!
One-Pot Wonders: White Wine Chicken!
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon onion powder
4 teaspoons crushed garlic from a jar (using the jar is much easier than mincing cloves!)
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
1/2 cup white wine (you can use chicken broth instead)
4 boneless chicken breasts 4 small potatoes (keep the skin on and scrub them under cool running water)
- Pour olive oil, white wine, and garlic on the bottom of the crock pot.
- Place chicken and potatoes across the bottom of the pot. Evenly spread garlic powder, dried basil, paprika, black pepper, and onion powder over the chicken and potatoes.
- Cover the pot and cook on high for 4 hours.
