One-Pot Wonders: White Wine Chicken!

Okay, so you would like to stay all cozy and warm in your home.
You would just like to relax and not worry about cooking.
This is where the slower cooker (KitchenAid Slow Cooker:, a.k.a. crock pot, comes to the rescue!
I have a great EASY recipe for these cold, winter days; and it’s healthy too!

One-Pot Wonders: White Wine Chicken!
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon onion powder
4 teaspoons crushed garlic from a jar (using the jar is much easier than mincing cloves!)
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
1/2 cup white wine (you can use chicken broth instead)
4 boneless chicken breasts                                                                                                           4 small potatoes (keep the skin on and scrub them under cool running water)

  1. Pour olive oil, white wine, and garlic on the bottom of the crock pot.
  2. Place chicken and potatoes across the bottom of the pot. Evenly spread garlic powder, dried basil, paprika, black pepper, and onion powder over the chicken and potatoes.
  3. Cover the pot and cook on high for 4 hours.
