Okay, so I am not naturally inclined to styling hair, but since I simply refuse to have a messy coif on top of my head, I needed to come up with a simple solution to not look like a frizz-bot. There is NO way I will ever master a blowout, so I devised this easy system to have frizz-free, perfectly shiny hair:
Step 1: While your hair is wet, put John Frieda Frizz-Ease Extra Strength 6 Effects Serum (amzn.to/1nastmM) on your fingertips. Use approximately a dime-size for hair above the shoulders and a nickel-size for hair below the shoulders. Rub your hands together and then run them through your hair. You’ll want to put most of it in the middle and ends of your stands. Only put a small amount at the roots, as there is already natural oils at that part, and you don’t want to be greasy.
Step 2: Dry you hair. I choose to wash my hair at night and let it dry while I’m sleeping for efficiency, but if you prefer to blow dry your hair, be sure to use a diffuser attachment on your hair dryer to decrease frizz.
Step 3: Use BaByliss Pro Porcelain Plate Ceramic Flat Iron (amzn.to/1RBBFM6) to straighten your hair. It’s best to do this in sections to get the smoothest, most professional results. Use a hair tie to hold hair out of the way that you are not currently straightening. While being careful not to burn yourself with the flat iron, use it to iron each section from root to tip.
Step 4: Spray Kenra Volume Spray (amzn.to/1JDJ5xc) into the palm of your hand, rub your hands together, and gently pat down any errant fly-aways.
Yay! We did it!!! Now we can all easily have fabulously beautiful hair in 2016!
