Smoked Salmon, Smoked Salmon, Smoked Salmon!

I cannot get enough of Smoked Salmon!  I was introduced to Lox (smoked salmon) and cream cheese on bagels when my daughter and son-in-law moved to New York City.  Then, another time my husband and I were in the city, they brought us to a wonderful café which served Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon (I’m in heaven!). Most recently, when we were helping them move into their new apartment in Manhattan this past summer, my daughter told me about a restaurant you can go to online and make your own sandwich.   So, I chose bread, olive oil, sliced cucumbers and SMOKED SALMON!!  YESSSS!  Now I make this for myself at home all the time!

The most amazing thing about smoked wild salmon (in addition to its deliciousness!) is how nutritious it is!  In 2 oz, there are 14 grams of protein!!!  And…there are only 70 calories & 1.5 grams of fat!  Perfect for our new year of eating healthy and being healthy!!!!
