Brunching in New York in the spring is fabulous. The weather is lovely and you can enjoy being outdoors while having waffles and mimosas served to you! Here are the top spots to brunch in the spring season:
- The Loeb Boathouse (Lakeside Restaurant): The Boathouse is dreamy. It’s located in Central Park on a lake and when the weather is nice they open the wall of windows facing the lake. You can also rent little boats (cash only) to row around! (East 72nd Street at Fifth Avenue. Enter Central Park on foot on Terrace Drive and take a right onto East Drive. The restaurant will be on your left. Or you can take the Shuttle (click here for details)).
- Match 65 Brasserie: Brunching at Match 65 Brasserie is the quintessential New York experience. In good weather, they have tables on their tree-lined sidewalk. I love eating outside in New York. (29 East 65th Street at Madison Avenue)
- Tavern on the Green: The reason I like going to Tavern on the Green is because you can sit outside and listen to live jazz music. They also have an outdoor bar you can sit at. The vibe is very laid back yet upscale. (67th Street at Central Park West. Enter Central Park at 67th Street and the restaurant will be on your right.)
